Hawaiian Koa is the main ingredient in this lovely ukulele... the sides, neck and back, and a few other little touches here and there.
The partnering with acoustically spectacular Engelmann Spruce makes the beautiful tones match the shimmering koa.
Rich-looking Gabon ebony is used for the fretboard or fingerboard, along with the pretty bridge several inches away.
The nut and bridge saddle are acoustical white ox bone. Herringbone binding is featured throughout... even down the center of the fretboard.
This wonderful ukulele is currently on display in the Artwood gallery. Stop in to see and hear it for yourself when in Fairhaven. And don't forget to view the accompanying photos... more are available upon request.
